Dear Guitarists,
Do you remember what got you excited about wanting to learn guitar
the very first time?
For me, it was the sight of my first guitar under the Christmas
tree. I was eight years old. Soon, guitar lessons followed and I was
met by the frustrations suffered by all beginners trying to learn
guitar.
This site is dedicated to helping you overcome those frustrations by
providing a series of free guitar lessons and recommendations to help
you play the guitar at the level you want.
To help you learn guitar, the lessons will cover a variety of topics
and will be written in standard notation and guitar tablature.
In the series on guitar chords you will learn:
Perhaps as you learn guitar you want to take your guitar solos to
the next level. It doesn't matter if you want to play guitar riffs like
Van Halen, Vai, or Metallica...or blues licks like Page and
Clapton...or jazz lines like Larry Carlton and George Benson...they all
have one thing in common. They all use the pentatonic scale!
To help you learn guitar, in the guitar lessons on the pentatonic
scale you will discover:
All of these lessons can be played on acoustic guitar or electric
guitar. Some of the string bending techniques may be a little difficult
on the acoustic guitar. Lessons start at beginner level and increase in
difficulty as they go up. All lessons will be written in guitar
tablature.
I plan to add additional lessons as time permits. I would love to
hear from you. If you have any questions or would like to see a lesson
on a particular subject please let me know. Click here to reach me at bob@learn-guitar-online.com.
